Onshore Consents Manager

Are you interested in joining an established, dedicated offshore wind developer? 
I am working on behalf of an international client for an Onshore Consents Manager, to be based in Stirling, Scotland. This role will specifically focus on supporting the development, consenting and environmental management of the onshore related elements of offshore projects. Initially covering early phase development activities with a view to working on the entire project life cycle including site selection, project consenting, Environmental Impact Assessments, and environmental compliance.

The ideal candidate will be:
  • Educated to degree level with relevant to development, planning, environmental assessment and consenting activities
  • Knowledge and experience of working with external planning and specialist consultants, planning authorities and stakeholders to obtain consent
  • Strong planning and analysis skills with the ability to look forward and anticipate problems and thereafter plan and implement mitigation solutions
  • Proven ability to select and manage external consultants and subject specialists for consenting activities
  • At least 3-5 years in the onshore or offshore industry with a clear focus on project consenting and development, taking projects through the consenting process
  • Experience of Regulatory regime in Scotland
